Body Essential
Anatomy of The Best Food Ever
29 December 2006
The human body is a complex machine that functions by altering itself to fit in better with its environment and conditions it is subject to. The air we breathe, the chemicals we come into contact with, and the food we eat all stimulate the body to alter its' structure to better suite that environment or substance we interact with. However, just because we are capable of adapting to something does not mean that we won't suffer for that adaptation later on.
"You are what you eat" is a very literal statement. You literally become built out of the food that you ingest, so it is important to eat what will produce the best reaction in your body. Even though everyone is genetically unique and has their own weaknesses, allergies, and reactions to food there are certain constants that apply to everyone.
1. Humans function best when eating foods that are living. For a food to be living it must still contain its life energy at the time of consumption. The best example of this is eating a vegetable that is consumed within 15 minutes of being "unplugged" from the earth. Within those 15 minutes the veggie still retains its full living state. From there it depreciates, but is still very powerful for a few days. Since most people don't have gardens the next best thing is fresh veggies.
Most produce found at the grocery store has been harvested prematurely, then treated with chemicals that artificially ripen the food in transit and improve its color.
2. Eating foods that are high in organic minerals, vitamins, and trace minerals always improve health. This is because we are built out of these components. To eat foods deficient in essential 'building blocks' is destructive because your body is constantly repairing, or attempting to repair itself. Providing those building blocks then is very logically a healthy practice and has been proven true by many people, myself included.
3. Giving the body the tools to repair itself is the best way of maintaining and recovering health. This is a very powerful revelation that has not been largely realized around the world, though it is slowly becoming more and more well known. The next part of that is understanding what it means and how to apply it.
4. Mucus forming and acid forming foods place an unnecessary strain on our system and provide no real benefit. Rather, they stimulate a reaction by your body to expel them from your system by secreting large amounts of chemicals and hormones. This overproduction of chems by your body creates an illusion of 'energy'. The primary types of mucus and acid forming foods are:
- Meat
- Milk & Dairy Products
- Eggs
- Sugar
- Salt
- Flour & all products containing flour
- Any cooked foods
5. Organic fruits, veggies, nuts, and seeds are far superior to their non-organic counterparts. Foods grown and treated with pesticides, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, preservatives, and other chemicals all absorb and retain a certain amount of those chemicals and pass them on to whoever eats them. They are unquestionably toxic, and these toxins accumulate throughout the body over time. This is one of the primary reasons that people who adopt a strict all-raw diet can become highly toxic. They replace the cooked processed foods of a Standard American Diet (S.A.D.) with non-organic produce and eat a lot of it too! Often such people will also consume far too many fruits, especially high-sugar hybridized types such as bananas, thinking that they are eating healthfully. While it is a great step towards a more natural and clean way of living, extended use of such foods will produce health problems.
Once these principles are established, we need to know which specific types of food provide the best nutrition. They are:
- RAW WHOLE ORGANIC FOOD
- Living, freshly unplugged sprouts & grasses
- Green foods
- Fruit juices
- Enzymatically active food
- Fermented juices
- Foods high in organic minerals
